They sent a person by to look at the damage, that person left saying they were going to speak to the owner. 12 DAYS!!! 12 DAYS of water soaking into the underfloor, bowing the white oak, costing more money by the minute. I did not notice it until the alarm company saw it while connecting that system. Accidents happen right? Unfortunately, the water leaked on my new hardwood floors for 12 days. When they hooked up the water to my fridge at our new house, they never tightened the fittings. I want to mention that I did genuinely like the movers, very kind, but the unexpected extra cost was not kind. The truck did not fit all my house's contents which left us to find other ways to move the rest of our belongings. The total move took 2 hours longer than estimated. The estimator did a poor job of estimating the hours. The company is responsible for damage to my hardwood floors.
